Systems Administrator - Information Technology

Kaskaskia College is seeking applicants for a Systems Administrator.  The position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing and maintaining operating system utilities and application software on computing systems. Position will be the primary point of contact for Active Directory administration including but not limited to group policy, OU's, computers, users, and groups. Create and maintain detailed documentation, administer and support Windows Development Server. Serves as an Office 365 administrator and assist in the maintenance, growth, and policies and procedures to enforce current security protocols for Office 365.

This position requires an Associate’s degree related to Information Technology. Current knowledge of Windows and Server operating systems, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS.  Some knowledge of network administration, routing and performance issues.  Must be comfortable with virtual machine environments and their management.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary range (commensurate with education and experience) of $40,000-$45,000, and is eligible for fringe benefits.
