Department: The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, administratively housed in the School of Health Professions, offers two undergraduate programs (traditional Bachelor’s and a post-baccalaureate) and three graduate programs (Master’s in SLP, AuD, and the Communications Disorders concentration for the PhD in Rehabilitation Science). The department includes a Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic which offers assessment and intervention for adults and children with speech, language, and hearing disorders, and serves as a major resource for interprofessional education, practice, and research. Required Qualifications

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences invites applications for a 12-month tenure-track assistant professor position for the Speech-Language Pathology program. All applicants will be considered regardless of areas of expertise. Rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Earned doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related discipline

Evidence of ongoing research/scholarly achievements, publications, and presentations at professional conferences

ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for Texas licensure
