Position Summary
The Torregrossa lab examines the role of salivary proteins in taste and feeding. We use a combination of behavioral and molecular techniques to answer questions in ingestive behavior. We are looking for a full time laboratory technician or manager. Main responsibilities include:
• coordinating and conducting behavioral and molecular experiments with rodent models.
• coordinating and training undergraduates
• maintaining laboratory supplies
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelors degree in a STEM discipline and proficiency with Microsoft word, excel, and power point are required.
Preferred Qualifications
A Masters degree in a STEM discipline, experience with gel electrophoresis and Western blot and animal handling experience are strongly preferred.
