Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; this is a temporary position to end on or before June 30, 2022 with a possibility of renewal on an annual basis if funds and/or program needs exist.

About the Position:
Information Technology continuously strives to produce a higher quality of services designed to meet the expectations of the campus community. We provide a leading-edge technology environment for students, faculty and staff to advance the University's mission, vision and goals. We are seeking an exceptional individual who has an understanding of object-oriented and mobile programming concepts to join our Enterprise and Resource Planning (ERP) development team as an Analyst/Programmer-Foundation. The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

The focus of this position is to define, develop, install, upgrade, troubleshoot, interface, train, and tune various automation, applications, configuration, interfaces, webapps, websites, mobile apps, and databases based on request from various campus departments including but not limited to Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion. The ideal candidate is proficient and/or open to learn one or many of the traditional and emerging technologies like but not limited to .Net, C#, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, Internet Information Servers (IIS), MS SQL Server, Office 365, Azure, AWS, Oracle RDBMS, Omni Update, Adobe Sign, Adobe Experience Manager etc. These developed application and interface solutions are based on good practice, industry standard, and scalable. These solutions will be used by various campus constituents including but not limited to campus staff, faculty, and students. The Analyst/Programmer will work as team of one and collaborates with other team members including training and working with student workers. Meets with customer, client setup, collecting requirements, develop specifications, designs, performs risk analysis, development, modification, testing, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and support for various campus and third-party applications. Based on the campus need there will be other assigned duties.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field or four years of relevant full-time experience.

Basic knowledge of specialty work area demonstrated by an understanding and use of general principals and terminology. Demonstrated understanding of the standard technology and systems in place with the capability of supporting and operating this technology. Ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes, and refer to the appropriate party for resolution. Ability to solve problems where precedents exist, and acquire knowledge in related specialties. Demonstrated competence to work as a member of team. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
