JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Indianapolis is seeking an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology for Semester II of 2021-2022 (January 2022 to May 2022). This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. This individual will teach 1 section of first-year graduate level statistics class for master’s and doctoral level students.

Remote work from the state of Colorado will not be permitted.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Teach a dynamic, interactive, and engaging graduate course in introductory statistics. Areas to be covered include parametric/nonparametric statistics, univariate statistics, multivariate statistics, and an introduction to moderation/mediation. Facilitate student development of competencies in choosing appropriate statistical procedures, testing assumptions, data analyses, interpreting results, and presenting findings in a manner consistent with publication standards.
  • Respond to student emails in a timely manner.
  • Hold office hours and/or be available to meet with students virtually or in-person outside of class.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD or PsyD in in Psychology, PhD in Biostatistics, or related field.
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Experience teaching statistics
  • (Preferred) experience teaching statistics for psychology
