Job Summary:

The Biology of Aging Program (BOA) in the Division of Geriatrics includes five different laboratories across the UW and VA, with both pre-clinical and human clinical research. These labs share very similar needs for administrative support to manage the wet and animal laboratories, as well as to maintain supplies and keep equipment operational. This position will support the success of the BOA program by providing consistent and streamlined coordination of these administrative and technical needs within the labs. This position will work 100% on campus, within the GRECC space in the Madison VA Hospital.

Education:

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
A degree in a scientific discipline is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in a wet laboratory and/or animal laboratory is required. Relevant work experience as a student or research intern will be considered. Experience with research project management is highly desired.

Additional Information:

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment. University sponsorship is not available for this position.
