The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applicants for a Tenure-Track Faculty position at the assistant professor level. We seek to hire outstanding scientists that complement the department’s strengths in molecular, cellular or developmental biology.

The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology conducts research and trains undergraduate, graduate and post-doctorate professional in science of genetics, molecular biology, developmental biology and cell biology.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a creative and innovative research program, to attract external funding, to provide research training for graduate and undergraduate students, and to teach MCDB courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Ph.D., post-doctoral research experience of at least 36 months and a strong publication record are required. Ph.D. field of study: Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or Computational Biology

  • Anticipated start date will be Fall 2022 Semester commencing in August 2022.

What We Can Offer
  • The 9-month salary range for this position is $96,000 - $98,000.
  • Relocation assistance will be available for qualified candidates.

What We Require
