Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The University Site Coordinator serves a critical role within the teacher preparation program. The Coordinators are part-time faculty members who are centered within a partnering, PK-12 school district. University Site Coordinators serve three major roles. Serves as (1) the liaison between the University and school district, (2) instructors for residency courses and mentor teacher trainings, and (3) supervisors and instructional coaches for their teacher candidates. Professional development will be required. These positions will serve for Spring of 2022. Educational Requirements for the Position
Requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in education or related field. Experience Required for the Position
Texas Administrative certification (principal or superintendent) preferred.

3 years teaching experience in K-12 setting required.

Current teacher certification required.

Effective educator as evidenced by student learning. Other Requirements for the Position
Strong communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. Dispositions for technology use and collaborative, school-based initiatives. Conscientious with meeting deadlines. Special Instructions Summary
