Summary:
The Department of Physical Therapy is looking to hire a Physical Therapist with expertise in cardiopulmonary physical therapy to teach PHTY 623 Cardiopulmonary during the Spring 2022 semester.
Position Responsibilities:
Teaching and administering written and practical tests in primary cardiopulmonary course. Supplement using online material. In-person course is scheduled for Tuesday & Thursday afternoons.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Virginia Physical Therapy license.
- Board Certified Specialist in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical experience practicing cardiac or pulmonary physical therapy in acute care or rehabilitation.
- Teaching experience
Salary Range: $8,000
