Job Description:
The Admissions Officer will collaborate with the Assistant Director, Admissions Office staff members, and student ambassadors to implement a comprehensive communications strategy. The primary focus will be on assisting with the development of marketing emails and communications to prospective and admitted students, including overseeing the creation of mailing lists. The Admissions Officer will also be involved in the development and execution of communications initiatives including, but not limited to, the general information brochure, social media campaigns, video marketing campaign development, website content and other admission/recruitment materials for targeted populations.
General admissions counseling, freshman application review, planning and implementation of all admissions related events. Manages an assigned recruitment territory to include high school visits and college fairs. Travels within the United States, which includes loading and unloading admission materials (40 lb. limit). Provides admission presentations to campus visitors at on-campus and off-campus events. Responds to phone, email, and in person inquiries from prospective students and their families. Serves on special committees.
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Admissions Officer will coordinate and execute a school counselor communication and outreach plan. The incumbent will assist with the planning and execution of all counselor related events designed to showcase the strengths of the university and opportunities for prospective students.
Expected Salary:
$47,476/annually
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work and communicate across a variety of cultures
- Ability to exercise good judgment and work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated abilities to leadership, problem solving and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with Slate CRM preferred
Valid Drivers License is required.
