Director of Annual Giving

The Director of Annual Giving is a member of the fundraising team and is responsible for oversight of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Alumni, Faculty/Staff, and Friends Annual Fundraising Program. As lead for this important facet of the annual giving program, the Director of Annual Giving oversees the annual direct outreach to alumni, faculty/staff, parents, and friends for core support. The Director of Annual Giving collaborates closely with top-level University administrators, faculty, staff, and volunteers to provide professional and strategic approaches to cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding alumni, faculty/staff, parents, and friends who represent potential leadership annual giving donors.  The incumbent provides leadership in addressing issues of professional practice, policies, and procedures. Working as part of a dynamic team of advancement professionals, the Director will be responsible for building partnerships with colleagues across the University and will work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to effectively market campaigns to various University constituents. The Director should be a creative, out-of-the-box, resourceful thinker and doer and must be a team player with well-honed partnership-building, client management, and project management skills.
