Adjunct- Clinical Supervisor/Licensed Clinician
Position Summary
California Baptist University, an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention, invites applications for the following position. Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University. A doctoral degree in the field and a California psychology license are required. Psychological Services of Riverside ( PSR ), a clinic affiliated with CBU’s PsyD Program, seeks a clinical supervisor/licensed clinician to supervise doctoral students who are seeing clients in the clinic, with the option of also personally seeing clients at the clinic. The successful candidate should possess a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology or a related field, have graduated from an APA -accredited doctoral program, and have completed an APA -accredited pre-doctoral internship. The supervisor/clinician will provide one hour of weekly individual supervision to up to six doctoral students and two hours of weekly group supervision, plus devote up to several hours to consultation, chart review, and the attendance of a weekly staff meeting. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply, and the ability to speak Spanish is preferred, though not required.

The successful candidate should possess a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology or a related field, have an active California psychology license, and have no history of ethical complaints.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Ensure that student clinicians operate ethically, professionally, and effectively in providing professional mental health services by conducting weekly individual and group supervision, reviewing documentation, and engaging in direct observation through video recordings. As a licensed clinician, the psychologist also has the option of seeing clients on a part-time basis.
