Description

The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenure track part-time positions at the rank of lecturer or senior lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a year-long appointment can be made. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon funding and performance. SALARY: Dependent upon position and qualifications.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in engineering or related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred.
