Part-Time Coordinator of Student Services – Pottstown Campus

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-Time Coordinator of Student Services position.  The Coordinator is primarily responsible for the coordination of Student Services Resource Center (SSRC), Student Services (SS) Front Desk, Federal Work study student employees, Student Ambassadors and Enrollment Service Assistant’s and Student Services Assistant within the West Campus Student Services Center. Assists the Assistant Dean with processing requests as needed.

 

*Occasional Saturdays are required.

*This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations.  The primary location is the Pottstown Campus.

 

 ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Education/Training/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2 years of Higher Education Experience (Community College experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required
  • 2 years of Call Center experience preferred
  • 2 years of Processing experience with system optimization work preferred

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding of Community College philosophy, practice and population
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; highly organized 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with records/registration systems (Colleague preferred) 
  • Customer service experience
