Job Summary:

(15%) Utilizes independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events

(25%) Identifies program needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews

(25%) Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement

(10%) May supervise the day to day activities of one or more academic programs and resolves issues exercising discretion to meet unit goals.

(5%) Maintain compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies for academic programs, events, and initiatives. Ensure timely renewal and submission of program applications, maintain accurate and complete documentation, and coordinate communication with accrediting bodies, faculty, applicants, presenters, and staff.

(5%) Assist with neurosurgery related research projects for several investigators. Assist with the lab manager of the Lincoln Ramirez Neurological Skills Laboratory by aiding faculty using the lab, coordinating teaching and surgeries, ordering supplies, etc

(10%) Digital communications tactics: Per communications planning, direct content strategy for department websites and social media platforms.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree
Biological sciences or related field preferred.

Qualifications:

-Two or more years in experience in managing a laboratory preferred.
-Experience in animal or cadaver anatomical research is preferred.

-Exceptional customer service orientation (welcoming and responsive to staff requests, deadline oriented, motivated to produce high quality work).
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and effectively under general supervision; exercising judgment, taking initiative, coordinating with others, and seeking solutions to problems.
-Flexibility to accommodate frequent changing priorities in an ever-changing environment.
