Job Summary: SUNY Brockport, State University of New York is accepting applications for an Associate Director of Community Development. The Associate Director is a vital member of a highly effective team with major responsibilities in all programs and administrative areas, including supervision, budget, planning, and training. The position is directly responsible for assessment, annual reporting and oversight of major programs. The position will supervise a graduate assistant. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Higher Education or Student Development or related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Experience with student leadership.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring professional staff.
  • Demonstration of project management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated support of advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing an operating budget.
  • Experience with risk management situations and handling emergencies; developing action plans.
  • Knowledge and understanding of civic learning and democratic engagement; developing students into engaged and active community members.
    Work Schedule: M-F day hours, some nights and weekends Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary $62,000. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Application Instructions:
