The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide (ERAU-W) welcomes applications for a senior 10-month Tenure Track position in finance at the rank of Associate professor or higher.

ERAU's Worldwide campus has an enrollment of over 23,000 students, delivering courses globally online, synchronously to both homes and classrooms, and face-to-face at over 130 locations. Embry-Riddle Worldwide earned the #1 ranking in 2019 for Best Online Bachelor's programs from U.S. News & World Report. ERAU's Worldwide campus consist of three Colleges: College of Business, College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Aeronautics. The College of Business has approximately 55 full-time faculty, 480 adjunct faculty and 8,000 students with sixteen academic programs.

The Department of Business Administration (DBA) is the home of the Master of Business Administration in Aviation (MBAA) with 850 students, the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration (BSABA) with 650 students and the Associate of Science in Aviation Business Administration (ASABA) with 125 students. There are approximately 1600 students pursuing degrees in the DBA. The department currently has 11 full-time faculty. Disciplines in the DBA include accounting, economics/finance, international business and marketing.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in finance. Areas of interest include corporate finance, risk management and investments. Course are delivered via traditional classroom delivery, hybrid, online, and/or interactive teleconferenced learning technologies. Other areas of responsibility include active publication in peer reviewed journals ranked Q2 or higher. Must be willing to travel to different ERAU Worldwide campuses to teach (which is quite rare) and to attend meetings and conferences. As a senior finance faculty, the ideal candidate must also be willing to serve as a research mentor to others in the College.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

Terminal degree from and AACSB accredited institution in finance. The desired area of expertise is in risk management or financial engineering. The candidate should show excellence in teaching and demonstrate a strong research record/potential through publications and/or pipeline that would include working papers or papers under review. Strong candidates will have accepted/published research in reputable academic journals and excellent teaching evaluations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching web-based courses, participation in university committees or related community organizations. Experience in the aviation or aerospace industry is beneficial but not required.
