Clinician Educator (Position # 03-309-1094)

The Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time clinical faculty position. This position will serve as the Division Head for the Division of Nephrology at University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown campus and will oversee the clinical and educational operations in Nephrology at the UMMC Midtown Campus and provide comprehensive clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings to patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease including chronic outpatient dialysis patients.

Qualifications :

Successful candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required as instruction of medical residents and fellows is i ntegral to our clinical programs. Expected faculty rank is Associate Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
