Wake Forest School of Medicine and the NCI-designated Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center (WFBCCC) of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist are seeking investigators of all ranks to fill faculty positions in Cancer Biology. Specific areas of interests include signal transduction, cancer genomics and metabolism, redox biology, tumor microenvironment, therapeutic development, stem cells, and animal models of cancer.

The National Cancer Institute's comprehensive designation is an assurance that our patients have access to the latest technologies, cancer treatments, clinical trials, and research. Partnerships with the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the Sticht Center for Healthy Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention, the Center for Precision Medicine, the Center for Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, and other research entities provide a dynamic environment for cutting edge multidisciplinary research.

Candidate requirements are:

  • PhD and/or MD degree
  • Established independent research program
  • Active funding (especially for the established investigators)
