TheMarketing Specialistprovides creative, forward-thinking ideas and results that leverage the image, values, messaging, and reputation of St. Catherine University, supporting inbound and outbound marketing strategies for the Marketing and Admissions team. This role collaborates with teams and manages outside vendors to build best-in-class digital and traditional marketing campaigns to generate leads with a focus on pay-per-click (PPC). Responsibilities include:
  • Manage internet pay-per-click adverting campaigns including strategy, design, implementation,SEO, and analysis of performance, making recommendations for optimization, establishing visibility to candidates from all races, religions, and abilities.
  • Manage traditional advertising campaigns including print, radio, outdoor, etc. including assessment of performance, including recommendations around changes to achieve better results in attracting students from under-represented groups.
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns based upon robust data and present the recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify objectives in order to meet enrollment goals through appropriate marketing channels, discovering effective marketing and promotional channels to be used to relay product messages to diverse audiences.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
  • Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copy and collaborate with agency(s) to write engaging copy that is inclusive of all potential students.
  • Establish metrics to track and report on a regular schedule, including measurement
    of success in attracting and retainingBIPOCstudents.
  • Maintain high standard of quality and brand image for all merchandise used for enrollment and marketing purposes.
  • Stock, price and manage online store, ensuring that product mix meets the needs of the University internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience managingPPCcampaigns that meet objectives.
  • Experience implementing essential elements of effective marketing campaigns including inbound and outbound strategies, direct response messaging, sales collateral, advertising, direct marketing, web etc.
  • Experience creating a broad array of communication tools that have been effective to their purpose.
  • Experience gathering information and integrating it to analyze and make recommendations.
  • Experience communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences in a patient and respectful manner.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and Google suites.

  • Higher education marketing experience
