The Department of Management & Organizations (MNO) in the Cox School of Business at SMU is seeking to hire for a non-tenure track Professor of Practice position in the area of organizational behavior with an August 2022 start. Thought leadership, a charismatic persona, an innovative spirit, and a broad-ranging repertoire that provides for high quality teaching is essential. The candidate selected will be strongly involved in providing students stellar preparation and mentorship within and outside the classroom in order for them to perform at a high level in applied experiential projects, workplace leadership, and managerial problem solving.  Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in management or a related field by the start of employment; expertise to teach courses in management and leadership.

Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated potential to teach MBA and undergraduate courses in management and leadership as well as any of the following areas: Change management, consulting, people analytics, strategic human resources management, diversity, ethics, and healthcare management; interest in making significant contributions to the strategic deliver of undergraduate and graduate curriculum as well as their extracurricular program components (i.e., honors practicum, applied experiential learning, orientation, outside speakers, internships, and placement opportunities).
