About this position

 Job Summary: The Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Management at the rank of assistant or associate professor for Fall 2022. 

 

 

Essential Functions:

1. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Management (to include topics such as human resource management, labor and employee relations, international management, organizational behavior and non-profit management)

2. Engaging in publishable research that supports excellent teaching and advances the field. 

3. Providing service to the school, college, and profession. The normal teaching load is (3) four-hour courses per semester.

4. Faculty members are expected to be actively engaged with students outside of the classroom. An interest in and appreciation for free enterprise and entrepreneurial values is important.

 

 

About our ideal candidate

 QUALIFICATIONS:

1. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Management from an AACSB accredited institution and be a "Scholarly Academic” consistent with AACSB standards.

2. Have an established research program underway with the ability to publish in quality peer-reviewed journals.

3. Teaching excellence, engaged learning, an applied orientation and collegiality are highly valued and expected of all Florida Southern College faculty.
