Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering


LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, with a specialization in biomolecular engineering.
Candidates should possess a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field and the ability and interest to teach core chemical engineering courses. The candidate will join a growing interdisciplinary group of faculty members at Lehigh University working in the field of bioengineering and biotechnology.


The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally recognized experimental, theoretical, or computational research program and contribute to the mission of the university, including excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the university’s commitment to providing an inclusive and equitable community.

The Rossin College consists of eight departments, twelve research-based M.S. and Ph.D. programs, ten professional master’s programs, and twelve undergraduate programs. The college also has multiple cross-college honors programs with the College of Business and with the College of Arts and Sciences. The College faculty includes approximately 130 tenure-track and 20 teaching faculty members. The student body includes approximately 2,000 undergraduate students and 800 graduate students. The College has broad-based research activities across numerous areas of scholarly excellence and is focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
