The salary range is $45,300 –$58,000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

This position provides clinical support to the Health Center’s medical providers. Individuals in this position do a wide array of essential functions: lab testing, blood draws, medication dispensing, patient triage, referrals, assist with procedures, vital signs, allergy assessment, visual acuity, patient communications, take x-rays, immunizations, emergency response and serve at the center of the medical hub.
IND208 Duties/Responsibilities
-Reviews health records/immunizations and recommends action based on clinical protocol, CDC AICP, HIPAA and State of Colorado Statute
-Administers vaccine, collects vital signs, collects lab specimens, renders emergency treatment based on scope of practice under clinical protocol and in consultation with a precepting medical provider -Assists medical providers with patient care, performing intakes, including performing a variety of clinical indicators; Responds to campus emergencies as part of the emergency response team.
-Performs EKG’s, lab testing procedures, medication dispensing, patient education and triage of clinical needs. Takes X-rays upon completion of a limited scope course and passage of exam
-Performs patient triage, referrals, assessment of vital signs, visual acuity and blood draws
-Documents all patient care using electronic medical records system. Records current medications, labs, procedures and patient history including immunization and insurance records using electronic records system.
-Communicates patient requests and follow up actions with health care staff utilizing electronic task manager Required Qualifications
1. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
2. Six (6) month experience working in a University Student Health Center environment.
