Suffolk University is excited to announce a career opportunity
as a time-limited Suffolk CARES Case Manager! This role works
directly with students. This full-time, position starting as soon
as possible and ending on December 31, 2021. This position reports
directly to the Assistant Dean of Students for Care and Support in
the Student Affairs Office. The individual provides high-level
direct support to students providing non-clinical case management.
Aligned with Suffolk’s 2025 strategic plan, the Case Manager Role
supports students holistically and encourages the development of
students’ adaptive skills.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in higher education preferred psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
- At least three years of progressively responsible work in Student Affairs.
- Knowledge of University mental health, health, and support resources in order to assist students in meeting their psychosocial needs.
- Strong knowledge of mental health, student advocacy, and crisis management.
- Demonstrated ability to provide administrative case management, including direct contact with students, family members, and on and off-campus providers.
