About the Opportunity:
Northeastern University Athletics is seeking an Assistant Director for Creative Services. The position manages the Northeastern Athletics brand and serves as the lead designer for the department's print and digital content/publications. This position provides oversight of the department's visual identity and reinforces consistent application with partners and third party vendors.

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director for Creative Services develop and implements the design and content for electronic communications, advertising campaigns, and licensing and also manages photography. Reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Innovation & Game Day Experience.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design or related field preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), Adobe Premium, and proficiency in motion-graphics software such as Adobe After Effects (portfolio or link to work samples required).

Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time experience in a field of professional or collegiate athletic communications required.

Passionate and knowledgeable about collegiate athletics, as well as relevant industry trends that will help keep Northeastern Athletics ahead of the curve in telling stories through digital content creation.

Must have a clear understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.

Ability to work flexible hours (nights and weekends are required) and under tight deadlines.
