About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Associate Director, University Pathways Portfolio (UPP) the Program Coordinator-University Pathways will support the management of unique student support services, events, business development and internal communications related to elite, high-priority undergraduate pathway and partnership initiatives such as Foundation Year.

Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator University Pathways will respond to unique needs and goals of high-priority partnerships and pathways and will work regularly with the UPP leadership team and members of partner organizations to deliver Northeastern University resources and support based on annual goals. S/he will also be a primary source of information for several CPS units to contact for further information about serving high-priority partners, including admissions, marketing, advancement, academic units, faculty and operations.

The Program Coordinator-University Pathways will work with the Associate Director to assess unique student and operational needs related to high-priority undergraduate partnerships and initiatives including scheduling, tutoring, consulting or other services required for meeting CPS commitment to the partnership or pathway. S/he is responsible for implementing outreach campaigns and events to attract new students in collaboration with designated UPP, partnership, and pathway leadership and internal units such as enrollment management. The successful candidate will contribute to the tracking partnership activity against stated goals of the contract and annual goals.

In addition to College wide initiatives, the Program Coordinator-University Pathways will work regularly across the university to coordinate logistics along with registrar and student support activities on behalf of partnership growth. The Program Coordinator-University Pathways will assist the Associate Director to provide regular impact reports to CPS leadership regarding outcomes associated with high-priority undergraduate partnerships and pathways. The Program Coordinator -University Pathways will coordinate responsibilities that are required for meeting the university's commitment to high-priority undergraduate partners and pathways.

The Program Coordinator -University Pathways will provide support to the Associate Dean, University Pathways Portfolio and perform daily functions related to office administration such as calendar management, event planning, including initiating and coordinating regularly scheduled meetings and events, database management, developing and maintaining files, providing administrative support for various staff and faculty members, and maintaining effective relationships and good rapport with the full University community at all levels. S/he will also hire, train, and supervise work study students and manage program specific email inboxes. Perform additional duties and assist in special projects as needed and requested.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required. Two to five years of progressive responsibility in an administrative support capacity in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment or relative combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to work in a highly flexible and innovative environment with an expanding role and shifting responsibilities.
  • Superior critical thinking, relationship building skills and willingness to be pro-active, take initiative and ownership.
  • Strong understanding of University systems and priorities; ability to successfully navigate the complexity of large University administration to build internal partnerships and initiatives on behalf of specific external relationships.
  • Effective multi-tasking, priority setting and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive material, set priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent written communication skills; exercise confidentiality, tact and diplomacy in dealing with others.
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Suite Office, Outlook, Power Point, Apple/MAC and PCs, website and database management.
  • Occasional night and weekend work.
