The Department of Kinesiology at the University of
Georgia invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track
position at the rank of Instructor in the area of sport management
to begin August 1, 2022. The posting can be found here:

The Department of Kinesiology has 29 full‐time
faculty members and offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. programs in the
academic areas of athletic training, exercise science, physical
education, and sport management and policy. Information about the

Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate sport management classes
(face-to-face, online, or blended) within the program
curriculum.
Establish sport management internship/practicum
sites and supervise student field experiences.
Contribute to program development and outreach
through cultivating professional relationships between the sport
management program and various sport organizations.
Provide educational assistance to individual
students.
Contribute to service activities at the program,
department, college, and university levels.
Required
Qualifications:
An earned master’s degree in Kinesiology
(specialization in sport management) or a closely related field of
study.
A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching
undergraduate sport management courses.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively teach a wide variety of
undergraduate courses residing in the current sport management
curriculum.
Extensive professional background in sport
organizations.
Passion and enthusiasm toward professional
teaching and student learning.
Ability to demonstrate strong evidence of and
commitment to teaching excellence.
Ability to successfully teach online courses.
Ability to cultivate and maintain effective
relationships with various sport organizations.
