We are seeking experienced medical transcriptionists to join our Office Technology Classroom adjunct faculty to teach (both virtually and face-to-face) our three medical transcriptionist courses, OFFI 270 Medical Transcription Techniques, OFFI 293 Beginning Medical Transcription, and OFFI 297 Advanced Medical Transcription. Curriculum development of these courses will be part of this teaching contract to update the courses to meet the current industry standards in healthcare documentation.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the medical documentation field
  • Certification in Healthcare Documentation and/or college course equivalent is preferred
  • Experience teaching or training in the healthcare documentation field

Additional Information:

Hours Per Week: 3-9 credit hours a week
Work Schedule: Varies depending on class schedule
