The School of Accountancy in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) commencing Fall 2022.

Essential Functions: The candidate must contribute to the School of Accountancy’s mission in the areas of research and teaching. Research must be publishable in premier academic journals in accounting or a closely related field. The candidate must be able to contribute to curriculum development and deliver excellent in-class instruction at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

1) A PhD in accounting or a closely related field, or be close to earning the PhD by the position start date;

2) A record of research excellence and a promising research agenda;

3) A demonstrated record of teaching experience with potential for excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated research and teaching potential in the area of tax, audit, managerial, or financial. For candidates with demonstrated research and teaching potential in the financial area, experience with and training in experimental methods is preferred.
