The candidate must conduct research at the highest levels that can be published at the top journals in Economics; teach economics courses at the undergraduate and graduate level; serve as a research mentor to doctoral students; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance the intellectual atmosphere of the department.

Required Qualifications:

1) A PhD in economics or a closely related field; ABD candidates must successfully defend their dissertation by July 1, 2022.  2) A promising and ambitious research agenda.

Desired Qualifications: 

1) A strong research agenda in Applied Microeconomics, with ideally published or forthcoming papers in premier academic journals; 2) Teaching experience
