About the Opportunity:
The Success Manager will manage the student experience for specific programs within the EDGE team's portfolio to deliver on Northeastern's values around experiential learning. This role will serve as learners' main point of contact for program or University-related support. They will connect the learner to necessary resources both within the confines of a course, and to the university at large, oversee and develop learner communications and engagements, work with the data team to monitor learner metrics, and provide outreach or support to any learners deemed as struggling.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise and assist learners with academic and program concerns; serve as the connector for learners to various university resources
  • Work with instructional support team to facilitate learner engagement
  • Develop and implement communication and engagement plan for learners
  • Organize and attend live sessions and assist with delivery as needed
  • Collect information and distribute reporting for learner success metrics; escalate specific learner concerns to program manager
  • Assist in course registration and manage student orientation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 to 6 years of related student support and/or operations management experience
  • Must have strong people skills and be able to successfully communicate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • High level of initiative and drive with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Ability to work independently, but also as a team member when the situation warrants
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems, analyze data and synthesize and summarize information
  • Demonstrated strong business writing and project management skills
  • Builds positive relationships across departments, and shows a commitment to collegiality, mutual respect, supportiveness and inclusivity. Acts in a fair, flexible, honest and ethical manner at all times
  • Values and demonstrates consistently excellent communication skills. Balances the need to make timely actions while seeking input from appropriate individuals. Fosters open communication, acceptance and appreciation of others' opinions and thoughts
  • Consistently looks for a better way to do things in order to create organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Acts as a good steward of the university's resources
