Job Summary
Drexel LADDER Lab is an educational neuropsychology research lab focused on learning and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a full-time Research Coordinator to manage a NIH-funded multi—site research study investigating the use of novel memory assessment for youth with neurodevelopmental disorders (Down syndrome, Fragile X). This two-year position offers excellent preparation for individuals who wish to pursue graduate study in clinical or developmental psychology, or another related area.
Essential Functions
- Scheduling and conducting participant research assessments
- Coordinating data collection and database management
- IRB and host site communication
- Supervising part-time research assistants
- Opportunities are available, as desired, for supervised experiences with data analysis and both oral and written dissemination of study findings
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Completed coursework related to the conduct of psychology research
- Prior experience in a psychology research lab
- Experience working with young children
- Advanced skills in data management and software (e.g., REDCap, SPSS, Excel)
- Typically sitting at a desk/table
