Treasury Analyst
District Office at 3901 S. State Street
City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), the largest community college system in Illinois, is made up of seven colleges and five satellite sites, providing more than 70,000 students each year access to a quality, affordable education.
Responsible for the monitoring and recording of treasury transactions, maintaining bank documentation, preparing various reports, schedules and bank related issues.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor daily bank reports and investigate exception items
- Verify, monitor and track payroll ACH transactions
- Monitor, reconcile and prepare reports of City Colleges of Chicago Foundation activity
- Prepare documentation to update authorized signatories for board approval
- Analyze and assist with the preparation of vendor contracts and legal documents
- Execute stop payment requests, ACH reversals and generate various online bank reports
- Maintain and updates bank documentation in compliance with the City Colleges’ internal control policies
- Maintain and monitor collateral balances and reports
- Prepare reports and various schedules for the completion of the annual audit
- Examine and resolve inquiries for internal and external clients
- Adhere to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards
- Perform related duties as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in PeopleSoft, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Must be able to work well with employees at all levels of the organization. Must handle all situations with tact, persuasiveness and diplomacy
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Chicago residency is required for all full-time employees within 6 months of hire.
