JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Kinesiology, Health and Sports Science at the University of Indianapolis invites applications for an Adjunct Professor for Spring 2022 (classes begin January 18, 2022). This is a part-time position with the possibility for teaching in 2022-23 academic year.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related discipline, the ability to teach exercise physiology laboratory classes and have the desire to engage in student-centered teaching. Familiarity with active treadmill testing, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, strength and body composition assessments preferred. ACSM CPT, EP-C, CEP or CSCS certification highly desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach exercise physiology laboratory classes.
  • Teaching may also include functional kinesiology and/or introduction to Kinesiology classes.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a masters degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related discipline.
