Purpose of Position
The Organizational Leadership Program at Northern Kentucky University is seeking to create a database of potential part-time instructors who are qualified to serve as part-time instructors for Organizational Leadership courses (on an as needed basis). Primary Responsibilities
Candidates who fill this position will be expected to perform the following duties:
Part-Time:
1) Teach a variety of undergraduate courses (face-to-face and online) in Organizational Leadership.
2) Create and follow a syllabus with a course schedule for students
3) Be willing to establish office hours or scheduled meetings to support students
4) Use the CANVAS Learning Management System ( LMS ) to facilitate the course and report attendance and grades in MyNKU online grading system.
Qualifications
The candidate must meet the following minimum educational qualifications:
(1) Masters degree in Organizational Leadership or related field (Educational Leadership, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Psychology, Management, Business, etc.).
(2) A commitment to and/or experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Preference given to those with prior teaching experience in Organizational Leadership or related fields.
Any candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
