The President for Executive Development is responsible for all aspects of the Executive Development business and reports to the Dean of the Business School.  The President’s primary focus is to drive growth with new and current organizations. 

We seek a President who has strategic leadership ability, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a track record of success in relationship building and program development with a variety of corporate partners. A professional who thrives in a setting that rewards growth and innovation will be most successful in this role.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage top-line and bottom-line growth.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to broaden the customer base to support this growth.
  • Lead the organization in becoming more innovative in its products, product delivery, and client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of client relationships.
  • Manage and motivate the staff.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to establish a clear vision and strategy to drive innovation recognizing the changing realities and increasing competitiveness of business education including the influence of emerging technologies.
  • Clear track record of leading a professional organization effectively managing people including building and sustaining a positive and inclusive organizational culture, developing talent, and delivering results.
  • History of client relationship development and leading strategic growth initiatives.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible management, business, or relevant higher education experience.
  • Proven business development, networking, relationship marketing, and consultative selling skills.
  • Strong business, financial, and strategic acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and dynamic executive presence.
  • Understand how to manage professionals, including academics, consultants, and business development professionals.

 Education

MBA or Master’s/Ph.D. in related field preferred.
