Sinclair Community College, celebrating 134 years of educational excellence, is a comprehensive community college. It has an enrollment of over 23,000 students and offers both career and transfer programs leading to associate degrees, certificate programs, a select number of bachelor of applied science degrees, and continuing education opportunities. Our modern campus in downtown Dayton, Ohio, is among the largest community college campuses in America. Sinclair serves students throughout Southwestern Ohio at five locations and offers more than 14 online degree programs and over 200 online courses. Our remarkable faculty, staff, and students exhibit quality as evidenced by frequent national and state awards. Sinclair seeks to attract culturally and academically diverse applicants of the highest caliber for the position of Dean of the Liberal Arts, Communication, and Social Sciences Division (LCS). This position will report to the Provost.

The Liberal Arts, Communication, and Social Sciences Division offers more than 35 career and transfer associate degrees and certificates. The Division includes the following departments: Art; Communication; Design; Education; English; Humanities, Government, & Modern Languages; Psychology; Sociology, Geography, & Social Work; and Music, Theatre, & Dance. The Division employs 95 tenure track and 11 annually contracted faculty, as well as 19 full-time and 9 part-time staff members. The division also includes Athletics. The annual operating budget for the Division is over 17 million dollars.
