The Department of Classics at Union College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment

at the rank of Assistant Professor that will begin in September 2022. PhD should be in hand by

August 2022. Hiring is conditional on budgetary capacity. We invite applications from specialists in Greek history, with an additional specialty in Digital Humanities. Contributions to the College’s interdisciplinary programs are also welcome (e.g., Computational Methods; Data Analytics; Digital Media; Religious Studies). Teaching competencies must include Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels as well as general courses in translation. We also look for evidence of an active research program.
