Job Summary
The Department of Computer Science in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor(Instructor) position. This position will support the Department of Computer Science and the fulfillment of the department’s educational mission by teaching computer science courses at CU Boulder.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate education. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in at least one of the following areas of computer science: algorithms, databases, software engineering, cybersecurity, systems, or programming languages. Candidates should highlight their experience in these areas. Assistant Teaching Professors are responsible for teaching 4-5 courses a year, mentoring undergraduate students, and providing oversight to the undergraduate curriculum.
This is a non-tenure track appointment; the successful candidate will likely be appointed as an Assistant Teaching Professor (Instructor) on the Computer Science faculty, although appointment as an Associate Teaching Professor (Senior Instructor) is possible depending on experience and qualifications. The position will report to the Chair of the Department of Computer Science.

What We Can Offer
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $100,000.00.
