The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in marketing, beginning Fall 2022 or potentially earlier depending on candidate availability. 

The individual hired for this position will be responsible for teaching and service. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory marketing in addition to one or more of the following marketing electives: international marketing, sales, social media, or digital marketing. The teaching load for a Lecturer is typically five courses per semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid and/or online deliveries. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the position will also involve service engagement within the department, college, and/or university, including advising undergraduate students and contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes.   

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree from an AACSB accredited institution in marketing or a related discipline. Candidates should have significant professional experience and expertise qualifying them to teach introductory marketing and one or more of the following marketing electives: sales, international marketing, social media, and/or digital marketing courses. Relevant professional experience, significant in duration and level of responsibility, must be current at the time of hire, and maintenance of professional qualification is required. 

Evidence of collegiate teaching experience is preferred. Exemplary teachers who have experience using innovative and active learning approaches are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must have the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, the department, college, campus, community, and professional organizations.
