Administrative Specialist

 

 

Coastal Carolina University is seeking an Administrative Specialist in the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies.

 

Duties will include, but are not limited to: serve as college liaison and handle various correspondence with faculty, staff, current and prospective students, alumni, parents, and the general public; coordinate prospective student visits, disseminates college information; schedules room reservations; coordinates tutoring schedules; assist with the graduate admissions workflow process including set up and maintain confidential student files while monitoring and communicating with graduate student applicants; assist in updating all forms for the department and assist with updating website with new forms; assist all departments with the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies with maintaining, organizing and updating files, folders and the t:drive, when needed; update webpage and social media content to reflect current trainings and events; assist with all departments work order requests, poster/advertising request, 25Live, etc.; maintain and organize shared departmental space, equipment, supplies, keys, etc.; manage departmental records; and other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least two (2) years administrative related work experience is required.

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
