A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in discipline directly related to business
analytics (e.g., data science, data management/modeling, predictive
analytics, information science, information systems, applied
statistics). Must complete degree by start date of August 18,
2022.
Evidence of potential for engaging in high quality research in
business analytics.
A clear ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate,
masters, or Ph.D. levels in the areas of business analytics.

Position Overview
The School of Business at the University of Kansas is searching for an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics for the 2022-2023 academic year. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 18, 2022. This position will interact with students, faculty, industry partners, and the broader business community through instruction, research and service focusing on business analytics and information systems.
The University of Kansas, School of Business has been educating students and creating business leaders since 1924. In May 2016, the school moved into the $70.5 million, 166,500-square-foot Capitol Federal Hall . The main campus is located in Lawrence, Kansas, 45 minutes west of Kansas City.
