Job Summary:
The Department of Psychology anticipates filling a
tenure-track Assistant Professor position within the school
psychology program effective August 2022. The school psychology
program at LSU has a strong commitment to empirically guided
practice within a training model that strongly emphasizes the
training of school psychologists who are agents of positive change,
equity, and social justice in children’s lives. The development of
consultation, behavior analytic, socioemotional wellness, and
intervention/treatment skills are major foci of the program.
Responsibilities will include graduate and undergraduate teaching,
establishment of a strong research agenda, supervision of student
research, and supervision of practica training. Candidates are
expected to demonstrate unambiguous potential for research

Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in psychology, behavior analysis, education,
or closely related fields with specialization substantively
relevant to school psychology and/or behavior analysis is required.
Research credentials that are commensurate with a research
extensive university are also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board certification as a behavior analyst or
eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Louisiana is
strongly preferred. Well qualified candidates will be given serious
consideration regardless of specific areas of interest.
