About the Opportunity:
The Department invites applicants for an open-rank, non-tenure track position Teaching/Clinical Professor starting between late Summer 2022 and Fall 2022. The Department is expanding its graduate programs in Human Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences with newly approved degree programs at the Bachelors (minor) and Masters (MS) levels as well as continuing to grow our Doctoral (PhD) program. The applicant will be integral to the implementing these new programs as well as expanding existing programs.

Responsibilities:
The hired candidate will have the specific responsibility for program development and administration including but not limiting to teaching courses in biomechanics, kinesiology, research methods, technology, recruiting students into the program, in collaboration with the college office of graduate advising, providing students and their faculty advisors on the requirements for the program, track the matriculation of students through the program, update and maintain the program curriculum, conduct periodic evaluations of the programs, and track graduates. The hired candidate will also have the general responsibilities of teaching faculty in the department including overall scholarship development and providing service to the profession, the University, its colleges, and departments.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have an academic terminal degree (PhD, ScD, or EdD) in Rehabilitation Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Bioengineering, Neuroscience, Physical Therapy or in a related transdisciplinary field by appointment start date. The rank for the hired candidate will commensurate with candidates expertise and scholarly record.
