Position Summary:

The responsibilities of the Research Program Manager include supervision of graders (research specialists), grading, support of project management, training and assisting the Research Director and Medical Director.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required; degree in Biological or Social Sciences preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

-Minimum of 4 years work experience evaluating a variety of ocular diseases, including Age-related Macular Degeneration and/or Diabetic Retinopathy, utilizing Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging.
- Experience in a biological, medical, health care, educational or research setting.
- Experience in color photography and/or fluorescein angiography is desirable.
- Experience in managing and supervising staff is desired.

Additional Information:

Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, written and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze scientific methods and research design.
- Basic computer systems knowledge, including use of a local network, web applications, word processing, presentation and database management is required.
