Part Time Temporary Marketing Specialist

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part Time Temporary Marketing Specialist position.  Under the direction of the Director of Marketing the part-time Marketing specialist will help support the College by assisting with internal creative requests, the college-wide event calendar, minor web edits and other operational needs of the Marketing Department.  This position is a great opportunity to work with the Marketing and Communications team to learn about Montco and how we support our students and the community.

 

A Part Time Temporary employee is scheduled to work up to 25 hours per week, may serve a maximum of 12 months. Temporary part-time employees are separated after their term of service, or at the end of 12 months, whichever comes first. 

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in a fast paced marketing environment
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with colleagues and all levels of management.
  • Experience with project management software tools to manage daily workflow.
  • Working knowledge of web design tools and CMS or ability to learn
  • Working knowledge of HTML a plus
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with colleagues and all levels of management.
  • Ability to focus on detail while demonstrating ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy of work.
  • Must be nimble and flexible, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with others and enjoy being part of a team.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) required.
