Tenure-track Professor in History of Architecture and/or Urbanism

Position Description:  The Department of History of Art and Architecture seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in History of Architecture and/or Urbanism, field open in terms of chronological or geographical specialization. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2022. We especially encourage applications from scholars whose research embraces critical, intersectional, interdisciplinary, or interregional approaches.  The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in their areas of expertise; mentor and supervise undergraduate and PhD students; and contribute to the Department’s efforts to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Basic Qualifications:  PhD in History of Architecture and/or Urbanism required by the time the appointment begins on July 1, 2022

Additional Qualifications:  Demonstrated commitment to teaching and advising.
