The department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University
of Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applicants for a Lecturer position
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Teach primarily introductory level courses in Physics. Other
assignments may include astronomy courses, an upper-level modern
Physics course, a First Year Seminar course, or courses in support
of the department of Natural and Applied Sciences.
- Advise students.
- Facilitate optimal learning through integration of technology
and utilization of appropriate delivery methods. Courses may be
taught face-to-face or in distance education modalities.
- Implement inclusive instructional strategies to increase
support for students from underrepresented and first-generation
backgrounds at UW-Green Bay.
- Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank.
- Perform institutional and community service.
- Contribute to the ongoing programmatic development within the
department of Natural and Applied Sciences.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned doctorate in Physics from an accredited institution by
start date of 1/6/2022
- Evidence of excellence in student-centered teaching
- Demonstrated experience using active learning techniques
- Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education
- Familiarity with technology and distance education
- Experience working with diverse populations

Conditions Of Appointment
Position is a full-time, 9-month, instructional Academic Staff
appointment. Official transcripts of the highest degree
achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction
investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In compliance
