The Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign invites applicants for the endowed Robert &
Ann Canary Professorship. This is a full-time tenured position at
the rank of Professor. We welcome applications from all areas of
mathematics. Appointees will be expected to pursue an
outstanding research program and to teach graduate students as well
as undergraduate students. We particularly encourage applications
from candidates who can contribute, through their scholarship, to
the diversity and excellence of the Department and the Illinois
Community. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent
degree in Mathematics or a related field. Target start date is
August 16, 2022. Salary and teaching load are competitive.
